How ScrollForge works
Straight answers about buying, selling, your account and payouts — each one backed by the way the marketplace actually behaves — plus every policy in one place.
01Buying
Do I need an account to browse?
No. Anyone can browse and search the catalog. You need an EternalEngine account to buy, download or sell — the free tier is enough.
How do I pay?
By card, on EternalEngine PayGate's secure checkout. Your card details go to PayGate, never to this site, and no card is stored here. Free listings skip payment entirely.
Where is what I bought?
In your library, the moment the purchase completes — on scrollforge.io and in the EternalEngine app, with an order number and a download link. Downloads work only while you are signed in to the account that bought. Open your library →
Can I install it into my EternalEngine workspace?
Some products can be installed from the app product page after purchase. An installation stays in place even if the seller later archives the listing.
What may I do with it?
Use it personally and commercially, modify it and build it into your own work; not resell or redistribute the file. A listing can state its own licence. Buyer License →
Can I get a refund?
Official EternalEngine products (sold by EternalEngine LLC, with the Official badge) have a full refund within 14 days of purchase, no questions asked. For every other seller, refunds are handled case by case: ask the seller first, then us. A full refund removes the product from your library. Refunds & disputes →
Can I review a product?
Yes, from the app product page, if the account has a completed purchase of that product. Reviews from anyone else are rejected.
02Selling
Who can sell?
Anyone with a free EternalEngine account who completes PayGate payout setup. PayGate verifies you; your seller profile is approved only when PayGate confirms your account can accept payments. Start selling →
What can I sell?
Any digital product you own the rights to — ebooks, courses, music, art, fonts, software, templates, presets, datasets — that is not on the prohibited list. No physical goods yet. Prohibited content →
How does a listing go live?
You create it at /sell/listings, upload the file and cover, and submit. A moderator reads it and publishes it or returns it with a comment you can see. You cannot publish yourself. Listing guidelines →
What files are accepted?
Images, documents, text, archives and media up to 10 MB through the editor. The declared type must match the real bytes; executables, scripts, SVG and HTML are refused. Package software as a ZIP.
What do I agree to?
The Seller Agreement, the Marketplace Terms, the content policies, and the terms of PayGate’s payments partner, which the Seller Agreement links. Seller Agreement →
03Account & sign-in
How do I sign in?
With your EternalEngine account. Click Sign in at the top of any page and a sign-in box opens right there — enter your email and password (and your authenticator code, if you use one) without leaving the page. If you are already signed in to the app, the storefront notices on your first visit. Sign in →
How do I sign out everywhere?
Sign out from the account menu. It ends your session on scrollforge.io and in the EternalEngine app.
Where do I change my name, password or two-factor?
Name and appearance on this site under Account → Settings. Email, password, passkeys, two-factor, sessions and account deletion are in the EternalEngine app’s settings, which the settings page links to. Account settings →
Dark mode?
The storefront is light by default. A signed-in user can choose Dark under Account → Settings → Appearance; the choice is shared with the app.
What cookies does this site set?
Four first-party cookies, all for sign-in and appearance. No analytics, no advertising. Cookies →
The EternalEngine app itself: app.eternalengineos.io.
04Payouts & fees
How do I get paid?
PayGate pays your share into the bank account you connected, on your payout account’s schedule. Your payouts page shows your balance and recent payouts and opens your payout dashboard. Payouts →
What does ScrollForge take?
A platform fee, as a percentage of each paid sale, rounded down to the cent; you keep the rest. The percentage that applies to your account is shown at onboarding and on your seller pages. PayGate’s processing fee is charged on top. Free listings carry no fee.
Where do I see sales?
On your sales page: an earnings summary and the payout ledger PayGate reports. Sales →
Who handles tax?
You do. ScrollForge does not collect sales tax or VAT at checkout today.
